Yes, you can be rushed to the fire islands. As a water ele, I have the elite skill "Swim"

It's a good patch. Not perfect, of course (they removed refund points, finally, but bizarrely left skill points in). The Ember Light Camp trainer was also a fantastic idea. Hoping this will make it easier to introduce new players to the game.

It's still early here in Europe, but I've had a look at the update notes, and I'm stunned. Amazing stuff! Pretty much every complaint has been dealt with (and at least one I don't think people have noticed yet).
Good job ANet!

I got to admit I am liking this new update, I like the new area it is not nearly as hard to traverse as some speculations made it out to be. I also like the key thing, cost more for a key than you could sell what ever you get from the chest back to merchant but it is a fun gamble anyway.
Can’t wait to get back home today and explore that new area further!
Two thumbs up Anet!

The only thing that I wish had come with the update was the option to toggle capes.
Other than that I really enjoy the new update, Thanks Anet for all your hard work! I appericiate it!

But seeing that we already know, Anet are looking into the toggleable capes situation, even this minor issue is hardly a concern.
I'm still stunned and pleased with what they HAVE implemented. The Skill trader at ELC is one step closer to UAS, the keys are a great idea, and refund points fixed, now allowing for more experimentation with builds!!! OMG! Just those 3 updates alone are worth patting Anet on the back and saying "Good Job!!"
The UW situation will please some, and disappoint others, but now even soloing monks who were getting round to adapting their builds to compensate for the prot bond nerf finally have to concede that if they want to solo UW, they've really got to work for it now! That's a good thing for everybody, especially for the UW/FoW groups who are just lacking a monk for their team cos they're off soloing.

Anet is the god of gaming in my book. This update basically took away every single nucense *sp* I felt was in the game and replaced them with great features and perks.
Everything from top to bottom is badass. Awesome job Anet.

I don't know whether to do the Furnace quests, the Titans quests or go see the new critters in the UW!
For a free update... just flat out wow.
Found me a key, a black dye, a gold and two purples last night... and drops were slower for me than others.
Like I said... selling will soon die.

I read the update notes a few minutes ago and was stunned. There was a ton of stuff... I can't wait to get home from school today so I can start playing!
I knew I would start playing again once this update came out... but now I haves more of an incentive to do so. I mean... WHOA.
I mean, I've sorta been out of it for a while cause all my friends stopped playing... but now I definitely wanna start playing again. ^_^

yup, great update and kodos to Anet.
Even if I had complaints I wont complain since it is a free update.
Way to go.
I love guild wars and since it came out it saved me tons of money buying games trying to find one that is worth it.

Great job Dev's

I understand being discontented, but if I hated the game so much that I didn't like this patch I'd quit. I'd take up the piano or maybe watch television. I don't even understand playing a game you don't like for one hour let alone for the months that this game has been out.
If it's fun show some gratitude, if it's not find something that is fun. I'm not a fan boi. I want even more content and I want more difficulty across the board, but this was a big change and a positive one for everyone.
Thanks again A-Net for your hard work and for listening.

GG Anet. I haven't tested everything so I can't make detailed comments yet.
Briefly, very good for PvE - I even played in SF. Problem is skill aquisition. The PvPX rate (5x) seemed arbitrary to me and they stuck to it compared to the scientifically determined increase of 30x that we requested. It's still good though.
